Hello, I’m Agnes

I have always loved movement, be it yoga, dance, running, swimming, biking, weight lifting – however, with chronic back pain due to scoliosis and a short leg, it has been a challenge to continue these activities. Luckily, when I was young, my physical therapist introduced me to Pilates. This began a lifelong journey in training my body to move skillfully and effectively – and eventually training others to do the same. I spent years in formal education learning about the human body and learning how to teach movement. Eventually I became fully certified in Pilates, CoreAlign and Gyrotonic®.
When I’m not teaching movement therapy, I’m teaching Nonviolent Communication as a Certified Trainer with CNVC, or teaching music at Songbird Studio.
When I’m not teaching, I love to hike, camp, photograph and draw/paint flowers, collage, read, and drink herbal tea!
Welcome to Align Davis.
At Align Davis I offer private sessions in movement therapy using Pilates, CoreAlign and Gyrotonic® methods – methods which rebalance and rehabilitate the body/mind system. These methods energize and enliven the mind and body! With 20 years of teaching experience and state of the art equipment, I have the skill and ability to meet you exactly where you are on your wellness and fitness journey. I can help you overcome physical injury or restriction, achieve a sports goal, restore strength and flexibility, improve posture, and increase your overall wellness.
I look forward to meeting you and working together!
